Terms of Service

What happens when you book a clean or ask for an electrical quote on this website, and what has not been agreed yet.

Drafted 18 September 2026. No approved version exists yet.

Draft. Not checked by a solicitor.

This page was written by the team building this website, by going through what the software actually does with your details. It has not been reviewed by a solicitor and it is not a finished policy. Nobody should rely on it, and it should not be published as final, until it has been reviewed and the blanks in it have been filled in.

Anything marked Still to be confirmed is a genuine gap. It was left empty on purpose rather than guessed at.

What this website does

There are two things you can do here:

  • Book a clean. You describe the property and what you need, and you are shown an itemised quote per visit worked out from those answers.
  • Ask for an electrical quote. You answer three questions about the work and send three photographs. Depending on the answers you are given either an estimated range or a free site survey.

Both end in a request, not a confirmed appointment. Nothing is put in a diary automatically. We get in touch using the details you gave us to arrange the actual visit.

The date you pick is a request

The dates offered in the cleaning form are simply the next couple of weeks. This website does not know which days the teams are already full, so no date shown here is a confirmed slot, and choosing one does not hold it for you. The date is agreed when we contact you.

The cleaning quote

The quote is worked out from the answers you give: the size of the property, how it is looking at the moment, any extras you choose, and how often you want a visit. It is shown as a price per visit.

It is only as good as the answers it is based on. If the property is not as described when we arrive, the price may need to change.

Still to be confirmed by George Group Services

Still to be confirmed, and deliberately not stated here as if it had been:

  • whether the prices shown include VAT
  • whether a quote is fixed once we have confirmed it, and for how long it stands
  • exactly what happens to the price when the property turns out to be different from the description
  • any minimum charge, and any charge for a visit that cannot go ahead

The electrical estimate

Your answers and photographs are read by an automated rule. Where the job is clear cut it gives an estimated range. Where it is not, it asks for a free site survey instead of guessing a number, which is the point of the survey.

An estimated range is an estimate, not a fixed price. As the quote screen says: it is confirmed on the day, and nothing is charged until the work has been agreed with you on site.

Still to be confirmed by George Group Services

Still to be confirmed: how long an estimate stands, what a survey commits either side to, and which certificates are issued for which work and when.

Payment

No payment is taken through this website. It does not ask for card details at any point, it takes no deposit, and nothing here charges you.

Still to be confirmed by George Group Services

Still to be confirmed: how and when payment is actually taken, whether a deposit is required for any work, payment terms once an invoice is raised, and anything about late payment.

Getting into the property

The cleaning form asks for key and access notes, for example where a key safe is and what its code is. We use those to get in and do the work. Where you are booking for a property that is not your own, we also ask for the name and phone number of whoever will be there.

Still to be confirmed by George Group Services

Still to be confirmed: whether keys are ever held between visits and on what terms, what happens if we cannot get in when we arrive, and what insurance is in place.

Where we work

This website currently accepts any valid UK postcode in either form. No service area has been set in the software, so a booking request from outside the area we actually cover can be submitted and will be sorted out when we contact you.

Still to be confirmed by George Group Services

Still to be confirmed: the real service area for each division, and what happens to a request outside it.

What this draft does not cover at all

Still to be confirmed: the clauses a solicitor would expect here

  • insurance, guarantees and workmanship warranties
  • call out charges, emergency rates and out of hours work
  • liability, and any limit on it
  • complaints, and how a dispute is handled
  • whether any work is subcontracted, and what that means for you
  • who owns the photographs taken on a job, and what they may be used for
  • what happens if either side wants to end an ongoing arrangement

Governing law

The obvious answer is the law of England and Wales, and that is what this draft assumes. Nothing further is stated, because the exact wording is for whoever reviews this page.

Cancelling is covered on a page of its own, our Cancellation Policy, and what happens to your details is in our Privacy Policy.
